Flexible but ideally Friday (depending on previous booking). Villa to be vacated by 10am on morning of departure to allow for cleaning. Guests arrive 4pm.
The villa is beautifully tiled throughout, however, care should be taken at all times to avoid slipping around the pool and lower terrace area. We strongly advise all guests to take out comprehensive holiday insurance to cover any accidents, flights, illness etc.
There are 3 banks (a little English spoken) as well as small supermarkets, newsagents, a really good daily meat, fish and vegetable market, as well as numerous restaurants catering for all tastes. There is a very good internet cafe (near the market) in La Herradura with good opening hours.
A basic food pack is available on request, containing items such as milk, bread, butter, ajm, orange juice and fruit. Just let us know what you would like and our housekeeper will arrange this for your arrival.
The large and busy town of Nerja is approximately 10 minutes away to the west and the spectacular coastline between the two towns is designated as a “Natural Park” where some delightful, unspoilt coves can be found including a couple of nudist beaches. The cosmopolitan town of Almunecar is a few minutes to the east.
There are numerous musical and cultural events held throughout the warmer months at the neighbouring town of Almunecar and the Caves at Nerja (some of the largest in Europe) host numerous concerts and theatrical dramas every summer.
A number of pharmacists can be found in La Herradura town, and good health centres can be located in Almuecar and Nerja.
